India campaign in Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour 2023 Goa Challenge The four-day tournament, held from October 19 to 22 at Panaji’s Miramar Beach, ended in the group stage with none of the six Indian pairs registering a win.

India’s Rama Krishna Dawaskar and Nitin Kashinath Sawant were in Pool F for the men’s event, followed by Olympians Tri Vaughn and Chaim Schalk (USA), followed by Marco Krattiger and Florian Blair (Switzerland). He lost and was eliminated.
India’s Sasikala Veerapatiran and Kanimozhi Lakshmanan, who are competing in the women’s Pool F, suffered a similar fate. They lost to Clemence Vieira and Aline Chamelea of France, and Miroslava Dunarova and Daniela Rezova of the Czech Republic.
India’s Robin Ravi-Bharath Sonu and Selvam Shankar-Thyagarajan failed to make it past the qualifying round in the men’s event. Deepika Kandasamy-Pavitra Sudarakashi and Kavipriya Nagarajan-Vishnu Varthini Marimuthu failed to qualify for the women’s final.
The tournament featured beach volleyball’s top stars, including numerous world champions and Olympic medalists. The men’s and women’s finals were held on Sunday.
2020 Tokyo Olympic bronze medalists and 2020 European champions Joanna Mader and Anouk Vergerdespres of Switzerland won the women’s title, defeating Germany’s Itlinger Sandra and Borger Kalra.
Austria’s Moritz Pristautz-Robin Seidl won the men’s title with a victory over Spanish veterans Pablo Herrera and Adrian Gavira.
Performances at Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour 2023 events will count towards the FIVB Olympic Rankings and will be used to determine which teams qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
