It aimed to educate students about the importance of agriculture in sustainable development and its impact on the climate and quality of life, and to motivate students to practice agriculture at school and at home.
In the face of global environmental issues, the event aimed to raise students’ awareness and cultivate a generation that values afforestation and protection of environmental resources.
Strengthening cooperation
Dr. Mubarak Abdullah Buti, Acting Director-General of Bahrain’s National Education, Scientific and Cultural Commission, expressed the commission’s commitment to strengthening relations between government agencies and institutions.
This collaborative approach aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and is in line with Bahrain’s National Afforestation Plan, which aims to double the number of trees in the country.
