The 20-race Suberbike schedule highlights MotoAmerica’s 2024 calendar, once again introducing two triple-header weekends with nine rounds.
The season begins at Daytona with the points-free Daytona 200 during 2024 Bike Week, followed by the first race of the championship at Road Atlanta.
“It’s hard to believe that the 2024 season marks 10 years since MotoAmerica took over the AMA Superbike Series,” MotoAmerica Chief Operating Officer Chuck Ackland said in a press release. “Since then, we have experienced tremendous growth, not only in our television broadcast performance and social media, but also in venue attendance.
“We are confident in our continued growth, especially with the addition of Mid-Ohio State to next year’s schedule. We just finished the 2023 season, but with 2024 just around the corner, we are confident in our continued growth. We know and we look forward to seeing you all at Daytona in March.”
Round 2 at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama will be the first triple-header, with the second round taking place in September at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.
The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio will return to the MotoAmerica Superbike calendar for the first time in 10 years with an August event. This means three races will be held at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey, leading up to the finale.
This year, the popular King of the Baggers division will miss the second round at Barber and the fifth round at Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Wash., and will race in the seventh round. .
Every round will feature at least two races and several supporting classes including Baggers, Supersport Series, Twins Cup Series, Junior Cup Series, Stock 1000 Series and Mission Super Hooligan National Championship.
