The U.S. Women’s National Beach Soccer Team will conclude its 2023 schedule at the prestigious Mundialito Beach Soccer Tournament in Ayamonte, Spain, October 13-15.

What is Women’s Mudiarit?
The Mundiarit Beach Soccer Tournament, which is held regularly in Spain or Portugal, has existed for 25 years on the men’s side and expanded to include a women’s competition in 2022.
USBWNT, currently ranked 4th in the World Beach Soccer Rankings, will be making their first appearance in this prestigious tournament and will face a sizable test as they will face 1st place Spain, 2nd place England and 7th place. will be waiting for you. USBWNT in 2023
The U.S. Women’s Beach National Soccer Team, launched in 2019 as part of U.S. Soccer’s Expanded National Teams Program, has already achieved a record number of wins in a calendar year, with five wins in six games during 2023. .
In April, at the ANOC World Beach Games qualifying tournament held in San Salvador, El Salvador, the team went 2 wins, 1 loss, 0 draws, defeating the Bahamas 6-0 and Trinidad and Tobago 7-2, but lost to the host nation in the final. Morgan Church’s team bounced back quickly one week later and went a perfect 3-0-0 to win the 2023 Acapulco Beach Soccer Cup in Mexico. Thanks to the performances of Hannah Adler and Ali Hall, the USA defeated England 7-2 on April 14th, achieving a stunning come-from-behind victory.
The next day, the United States defeated Mexico 5-2 in the second round, maintaining its lead thanks to Adler’s extra goal, hits from Kyrie Quigley, Kelly Garzon, and Rachel Hunter, and an own goal.
The United States then rode Quigley’s scoring in Game 3 to a 5-4 victory over the Bahamas on April 16 to clinch the tournament title. This tournament win was his second in USBWNT program history, which he achieved exactly one year ago. The team has qualified for the 2022 El Salvador Cup.
With this year’s participation in Mundiarito, the USBWNT will finish 2023 with nine games played, setting a program record for most games played in a calendar year.
