Sameer Nas, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed Bahrain’s private sector’s eagerness to take advantage of the strong bilateral relationship between Bahrain and South Korea.
Nath said the main goal is to achieve mutually beneficial results by strengthening economic cooperation that is in the interest of both countries and their peoples.
Speaking at the 5th Bahrain-Korea Business Forum held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bahrain yesterday, Nas said that trade volume between Bahrain and South Korea in 2022 will grow by an impressive 50% compared to 2018. He expressed satisfaction with the achievement.

He also pointed out that South Korea has become Bahrain’s 11th largest export partner and 17th largest import partner in the past year. Nas stressed that the holding of the forum reflects the readiness of both the Bahrain and South Korean business communities to strengthen trade relations and explore new avenues of cooperation.
He highlighted Bahrain’s attractive value proposition, including a competitive business environment, opportunities for 100% foreign ownership in most economic activities, availability of golden residency rights and the benefits of low operating costs.
He emphasized that these factors, coupled with Bahrain’s strategic location and favorable business environment, position the Kingdom as an attractive destination for international investment.
