Taylor Swift appeared at The Grove in the Fairfax neighborhood of Los Angeles on Wednesday for the world premiere of her film “Taylor Swift: The Else Tour.”
Sky5 spotted the pop icon and her entourage walking through the alleyways of the vast shopping mall’s public facilities, which were closed for the event. Moments later, as she stepped onto the red carpet in front of the AMC Theater, her gown’s train was carried behind her and photographers began snapping pictures.
Not long after, Swift took time to take dozens of selfies with the “Swifties” who were already in line to see the movie.
Earlier in the day, Swift posted on her social media that due to “unprecedented demand,” the concert film would be released in the U.S. and Canada on Thursday, one day earlier than scheduled.
“I can’t thank you enough for wanting to see this film, which vividly captures my favorite adventure of all time, the Elas Tour,” she said. Posted. “And the best part is, it means we’re still going on adventures together. Now get in the car…”
Approximately 2,200 fans were expected to be invited to the private screening, and fans had to be at The Grove in time for the show, which starts at 7 p.m.
